What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, vibrational, hands-on healing practice that supports the body’s self-healing ability.
Reiki is a simple, natural healthcare system that can be easily learnt by anyone for personal well-being and the care of family and friends. Ability once acquired is never lost.
Reiki sessions are offered by professsional Reiki Practitioners as a complementary therapy and can be integrated into any plan to support improved health. One or a series of sessions may be required.
Reiki sessions involve the client lying down or sitting comfortably while fully clothed. The practitioner places their hands lightly on or near the client’s body allowing a free flow of universal energy.
Sekhem
Egyptian word Sekhem translates into English as "The Power of Powers".
Sekhem refers loosely to a group of energy healing and transformational systems that were developed from the original practices of Patrick Zeigler in 1980. Patrick reported having snuck in and stayed overnight in the Great Pyramid in 1979 or 1980. The description of his experience was remarkably similar to two other written accounts of people that obtained the permission of the Egyptian Government to spend the night in the Pyramid, Patrick reported that he was struck with a powerful energy. In a very short period of time, he was attuned by a Sufi Master in Khartoum. When he returned to the United States he studied Reiki with Barbara Weber Ray.
Sekhem would appear to be a combination of the Pyramid experience energy, the Sufi empowerments, and Reiki.
Sekhem is a healing system not unlike Reiki. It was an energy, drawn from the limitless source of the universe. Sekhem was thought to be a living light energy.
The energy is thought to be "transformational" in nature. It is used both to heal, as well as to help accelerate your personal development and help achieve your true potential. There are a variety of names used to describe this energy depending on which system that you learn.
Lightarian™ Reiki
Lightarian Reiki is one of the most powerful, highest vibrational Reiki healing energies available. There are no new symbols to learn and predominantly is a self-study course. Followed by a Q and A exchange and an attunement via distance/in person.
After receiving your first attunment you are able to access a higher and broader spectrum of vibrational energies.
Lightarian attunements have been known to trigger personal healing and spiritual growth.

The prerequisite for stating your journey into Lightarian Reiki:
You must be a Usui or Karuna Reiki Master.
Levels 1 to 6
Lightarian Reiki consists of 6 levels. Each one introduces new aspects and high frequency energies. These energies complement and enhance your personal Reiki ‘toolbox’.

I am a Member of the New Zealand Reiki Inc. I started my Reiki journey in 2018 and completed my Reiki Master/Teacher level in July 2022 with both Usui and Seichem Reiki. I absolutely LOVE what I do, whether it is treating regular clients, learning new therapies, or taking people through their own Reiki journey.

Teachings
All of my Reiki classes are run in small groups or 1:1 and usually over a weekend. If you are interested in starting your Reiki or Sekhem Reiki journey with me, then please get in touch. Of course, even if you have done your Reiki 1 with another Master, I welcome you to do Reiki 2 and Master with me. We are all constantly learning. I did my Reiki 3a Master Practitioner level three times with 3 different Masters, and completed my Reiki Master Teacher with yet another Master. I am so grateful to have gained so much knowledge from each Master Teacher, and I see it as a huge positive. I now have so much knowledge to share with you.

Becoming a Reiki Master Practitioner represents a deep commitment to the Reiki practice, and some feel that significant time should pass between achieving the Reiki Master Practitioner and Master Teacher. Master Teacher enables you to pass on your learnings, and attune others to Reiki. This also goes for Sekhem Master Teacher.
Note that Master Teacher level is completed over several months or longer. I will be there to guide you, and help with your manuals and teaching content. When it is time, we will come together so you can learn how to give attunements for each level. You will then be invited to some of my Reiki Classes where you can practice attunements and teach some of the class content, as well as sharing knowledge within the Reiki Share group. On completion of this you will receive your Master Teacher certification.
For all courses a $50 deposit is required on booking, and the balance payable a week before the course comences.
If you cancel, you have the option to either reschedule to another date. If you change your mind only 50% of your deposit will be refunded (due to the cost of printing and venue higher.)

We go through basic techniques of reflexology. Including zones/map, various acupressure points and meridians, aromatherapy.

You will receive notes, certificate of attendance, and lots of hands on practice.
A light morning tea is provided.
Note: I have put together these short courses to share my experiences and knowledge gained through my training. I am qualified Reflexologist and Reiki Master Teacher.
Join our Reiki Shares
Reiki share groups are open to anyone who has completed at least Reiki level 1 training. Everyone is welcome even if you have trained with another Reiki Master and any style of Reiki is welcomed. You don't need to be experienced - just come along to connect into your local reiki community and share this beautiful practice!
